Pediatrics:

Our pediatric providers specialize in the care of children, from newborn infants to teens.  Our practice consists of one pediatrician and one certified physician assistant.  In addition to well child checks and acute illness, they commonly care for childern with complicated medical problems and manage chronic medical conditions of childhood such as diabetes, asthma, and seizure disorders.

Dr. Mary MacFarlane, MDgraduated from UCLA School of Medicine.  She moved to Fairbanks in 1974, and has been with the Fairbanks Clinic since 1997. She has been active in community organizations directed towards children's needs such as ACCA, Fairbanks Community FAS diagnostic team, and summer diabetes camp. She has 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

Sara Vann, MS, PA-C graduated from the Philadelphia University Physician Assistant Masters' Program before relocating to Alaska. She is excited to join Fairbanks Clinic and to have the opportunity to work with Dr. MacFarlane in Pediatrics.
